Magic Mandalas

The reading assignment on “The Magician” fascinated me because it entirely validated my emotional and pyschological journey that I have been following since the 90´s. For example, during the previous months I mentally thought about being in the Now and that frame of thought has brought me forward to present time.

My recent artwork and journals reflects this change and my personal growth. I see, taste, hear and feel life around me completely differently. For example, when I am sitting at a resturante I begin by looking and taking in the walls and then the wall hangings and finally I dissect the artwork on the walls, etc. I do this with everything around me including the people at that moment and space and I do this with sound and smells as well.

The Mandalas I drew for the before bed, a.m. and morning devleoped into spirals with words. I feel that my mind was reflecting on my life these past few weeks.

Consequently, I was strongly drawn to my earlier mandala of the Sea Goddest that I named “Reborn”. I decided to take a closer look at it and found that I had added many symbols including fish, sun, moon, stars, tree, sea snail and rainbow. These symbals resonate with my inner thoughts and life path. For example rainbow reflects divine communication, fish reveal dept of life and tree echos embodiment of life. All indicate extraordinary personal and mental growth in my life path.

Finally, I feel my journey continues with each thought, motion and action. I seem to magically know what my next step will be. I simply stay in the Now and let the universe guide me.
